Bhubaneswar: A stakeholder consultation meeting on the proposed amendment to the Odisha Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy was held today under the chairpersonship of Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary, Commerce & Transport Department. The meeting aimed to strengthen Odisha’s EV ecosystem and lay the groundwork for the upcoming Odisha EV Policy 2.0, aligning with the State’s vision of Viksit Odisha 2036.

The consultation brought together key officials and experts from multiple departments and sectors. Among those present were Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur, CMD–OSRTC N.B.P.S. Rajput, and MD–CRUT Sanjaya Biswal, along with senior representatives from the Housing & Urban Development, Energy, Finance, and Skill Development & Technical Education Departments. The meeting was held in the 5th-floor conference hall of Kharavel Bhawan.
