Odisha Govt Extends Deadline for Laptop DBT Financial Assistance Applications

Bhubaneswar: In a recent announcement, the Higher Education Department of the Government of Odisha has urged students to take advantage of the extended deadline for submitting online applications for financial assistance under the Laptop Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Scheme.

The original deadline for applications under the Laptop DBT Scheme for the years 2022 and 2023 was fast approaching, prompting the department to extend the submission deadline to February 5, 2024. With only five days remaining, students are encouraged to promptly submit their online applications to avail themselves of financial assistance.

The Laptop DBT Scheme is a significant initiative aimed at providing financial support to students pursuing higher education. The extension of the deadline offers students an additional opportunity to apply for the scheme and secure assistance for the specified academic years.

To streamline the application process and facilitate wider participation, students are advised to submit their applications online before the revised deadline. This extension reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring that eligible students receive the necessary financial support for their educational endeavors.
