
Bhubaneswar: In view to the escalating heatwave conditions across Odisha, the state government has taken a proactive step to ensure the well-being of students by declaring a holiday for all schools from April 18 to 20.
The decision, aimed at safeguarding students’ health amid the scorching temperatures, was announced through an official release issued by the government on Wednesday.
With temperatures on the rise and heatwave conditions prevailing in various parts of the state, the government has expressed concern for the welfare of students. As a precautionary measure, all government, government-aided, and private schools will remain closed for three days, from April 18 to 20.
