
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has appointed retired IAS officer Madhusudan Padhi as the State Election Commissioner.
A notification issued by the Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department on Monday confirmed the appointment. The notification stated, “In pursuance of clause (1) of Article 243-K of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Odisha is pleased to appoint Shri Madhusudan Padhi, IAS (Retd.) as State Election Commissioner, Odisha.”
Madhusudan Padhi, a seasoned bureaucrat, brings with him a wealth of administrative experience, having served in various key capacities during his tenure in the Indian Administrative Service.
