
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha General Administration and Public Grievance Department issued a notification appointing eight senior Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers as private secretaries and Officers on Special Duty (OSDs) in the offices of various ministers in the state.
According to the notification, Biswaranjan Rath, currently serving as Joint Commissioner (BDA) in Bhubaneswar, has been appointed as private secretary to Deputy Chief Minister and Women & Child Development Minister Pravati Parida.
Pradeep Kumar Sahoo, who holds the position of Additional Secretary in the Agriculture Department, has been posted as private secretary to Revenue & Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari.
Mahendra Panda, Sub-Collector of Bhubaneswar, will now serve as private secretary to Commerce & Transport and Steel & Mines Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena.
Sambit Kumar Garnayak, currently serving as Additional District Magistrate in Bhadrak, has been appointed as private secretary to Law, Works, and Excise Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan.
Trinath Majhi, Additional District Magistrate in Rayagada, has been transferred and appointed as private secretary to School & Mass Education and ST&SC Development Minister Nityananda Gond.
Pratap Chandra Pradhan, who holds the position of Additional Executive Officer at Zilla Parishad in Ganjam, has been designated as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the office of Minister of State for Fisheries & ARD, MS & ME Gokulananda Mallik.
Manoj Kumar Behera, Land Officer at BDA in Bhubaneswar, has been appointed as OSD in the office of Deputy Chief Minister and Women & Child Development Minister Pravati Parida.
Samoad Kumar Dalai, currently serving as General Manager at OSDMA, has been transferred and appointed as OSD in the office of Higher Education and Sports & Youth Services Minister Suryabanshi Suraj.
