Odisha Government to Provide Monthly Honorarium to Padma Awardees

Bhubaneswar: The Government of Odisha has announced a monthly honorarium of Rs 25,000 for Padma Awardees from the state. The honorarium will be effective from April 2024, recognizing the invaluable contributions of these esteemed individuals to various fields.

The Padma Award, considered the nation’s most prestigious civilian honor, is bestowed upon individuals who have brought immense glory to the country through their exceptional achievements. Odisha’s Padma Awardees, spanning diverse domains, have played a pivotal role in enhancing the state’s reputation on the national stage.
