Odisha girl Shreya Lenka joins K-pop group ‘Blackswan’

Bhubaneswar: Shreya Lenka from Odisha has officially joined as one of the members of the K-pop group ‘Blackswan’ of DR Music. 

The DR Music was supposed to pick just one member for Blackswan, however, on Thursday they announced the names of Sriya and Gabriela Dalcin from Brazil to be the 5th and 6th members of the K-pop group.

Both Sriya and Gabriela were competing to get selected as the 5th member of the group which was left vacant after Hyemi’s exit.

“With their debut, we will be back with Blackswan,” said the group in a post on Instagram on Thursday.

A native of Jharsuguda, 18 year old Shreya is a trained Odissi dancer, singer and yoga practitioner.

Since December, she is in Seoul undergoing training which included standard vocal, rap, and dance lessons to personal training, language, and musical instruments.
