Odisha Gears Up for Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday highlighted the state’s rapid rise as a leading industrial hub in Eastern India during a session with members of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Speaking ahead of the much-anticipated Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, the Chief Minister described Odisha as a “rising star of the East,” underscoring its growing role in the nation’s industrial landscape.

“Odisha stands tall as a vigorous partner in shaping industrial success. It is a symbol of dynamic growth, with progress that shines brightly,” said Majhi, as he reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to creating a business-friendly ecosystem. The Chief Minister also assured investors of robust steps to ensure Odisha remains a top destination for both global and domestic enterprises.

Majhi emphasized the government’s focus on attracting investments, generating employment, and driving sustainable economic growth, aligning with the vision of a “Samrudh Odisha” (Developed Odisha) by 2036. He outlined key priorities, including the development of industrial infrastructure, streamlining ease of doing business, and fostering large-scale employment opportunities across various sectors.

The upcoming Utkarsh Odisha Conclave 2025, set to take place at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar, is expected to serve as a pivotal platform for showcasing Odisha’s industrial potential. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event on January 28, marking a significant milestone in Odisha’s efforts to position itself as an industrial powerhouse.
