Odisha FC Extends Contract with Captain Carlos Delgado

Bhubaneswar: Odisha FC is delighted to announce the contract extension of captain Carlos Delgado, securing his presence with the club until 2026.

The Spanish defender played a pivotal role in Odisha FC’s exceptional 2023-24 season, featuring in 37 matches across major competitions, including the Indian Super League (ISL), AFC Cup, and Kalinga Super Cup. Throughout the season, Delgado contributed two crucial goals to the team’s success. Notably, he distinguished himself by completing the highest number of successful passes among defenders in the 2023-24 ISL season and making 33 interceptions in 24 matches.

Expressing his joy, Carlos Delgado stated, “I’m going to continue in the club and I’m very, very happy to be here, to be part of the family. I feel the club is like a family and this is the most important for me.”
