
Bhubaneswar: Deputy Chief Minister Parvati Parida inaugurated two luxury 40-seater cruise boats, Lake Queen and Diamond Princess, on Saturday under the ‘Coastal Circuit Barkul Vikas of Swadesh Darshan Yojana.’
The newly launched cruise boats have been outfitted with modern amenities, including air-conditioned cabins and onboard food services, offering tourists a luxurious and comfortable experience.
In her address at the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister Parida emphasized the growing global demand for cruise tourism and highlighted Odisha’s immense potential in this sector. She stated, “The launch of these cruises will significantly boost tourism in Odisha, attracting more visitors who can enjoy the stunning views of Kalijai Island and the Nalabana Bird Sanctuary during their journey.”
Parida also reiterated the state government’s dedication to enhancing tourism infrastructure, ensuring that Odisha continues to position itself as a premier tourist destination.
