
Bhubaneswar: In a strategic move to enhance Odisha’s renewable energy landscape, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Agriculture, Farmers’ Empowerment, and Energy, Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, convened a key meeting with senior officials from the Energy Department on Friday. The session focused on advancing renewable energy solutions and developing the necessary infrastructure to support the state’s green energy initiatives.
The meeting saw the participation of prominent officials, including Vishal Dev, Principal Secretary of the Energy Department, Saidutta Biplab Keshari Pradhan, CEO of OREDA, Trilochan Panda, MD of GRIDCO, Sanjay Sen, Advisor to the Energy Department, and Rajesh Shirole.
Discussions centered on innovative strategies to expand renewable energy resources and enhance infrastructure, with the aim of positioning Odisha as a front-runner in green energy and sustainability.
Deputy CM Singh Deo reaffirmed the state’s commitment to a cleaner future, stating, “We are focused on renewable energy innovation and infrastructure expansion to transform Odisha into a leader in green power and sustainability.”
