Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has sanctioned Rs 78.76 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to support 13 institutions run by Missionaries of Charity in the state.
On 30 December last year, the CM had directed the collectors to ensure that no inmates of Missionaries of Charity suffer, especially from food security and health related issues.
After the requests of collectors, the Chief Minister sanctioned the funds for the assistance of institutions run by MoC in 8 districts. More than 900 inmates in various leprosiums and orphanages in the state will be benefited by this decision
