Odisha CM Encourages Students at ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025’ in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: With exam season approaching, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi urged students to stay confident, manage time effectively, and avoid excessive stress during their preparations. Speaking at the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025’ event held at Unit-I Government High School in Bhubaneswar, Majhi emphasized that hard work and a positive mindset are key to success.

The event featured a special screening of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interaction with students, teachers, and parents as part of the nationwide ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ initiative. CM Majhi, who attended as the chief guest, highlighted the importance of a stress-free approach to exams and encouraged students to embrace learning with joy rather than fear.

Majhi advised students to focus on their preparation rather than worrying about results. He stressed the importance of short breaks, revision through summary notes, and minimizing distractions, particularly mobile phone use, during study hours.

“Do not fear exams, as fear disrupts concentration. Take short breaks, revise efficiently, and stay confident. Hard work always pays off. Focus on preparation rather than the outcome,” he said, reassuring students of their potential.

He also suggested studying during the early morning hours (Brahma Muhurta) for better retention and concentration.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 168 students appearing for the Matric exams this year. Students including Liza Nayak, Shubham Patra, J. Minakshi, Sasmita Sahu, and Sanjib Digal interacted with the Chief Minister, asking questions on exam strategies and stress management.

To further support students, Majhi distributed exam preparation kits, reinforcing the government’s commitment to student welfare and quality education.

The event was attended by School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, Additional Chief Secretary to the CM Anupam Saha, and State Project Director of Odisha School Education Programme Authority Ananya Das, along with teachers and students of Unit-I Government High School.
