Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, is expected to announce the results of the High School Certificate (HSC) Examination, in the second week of May. This was confirmed by BSE President Srikant Tarai during a media interaction on Tuesday.
Updating on the ongoing evaluation process, Tarai said, “The paper checking for the Class X exams began on March 19 and is progressing steadily. However, we did encounter a brief pause of three days, which has slightly pushed back our original timeline. Despite this, we are making every effort to ensure the results are published by the second week of May, so that students do not face any hurdles while planning for higher education.”
He reassured students and parents that the Board is committed to making student-friendly decisions. Addressing concerns about Science subject evaluations, he noted that all decisions have been made in accordance with the examination committee’s guidelines, keeping student interests at the forefront.
This year, the BSE introduced a watermark and QR code system in question papers to enhance security and prevent leaks. Tarai stated that the new features have played a vital role in preserving the integrity of the examination process.
