Bhubaneswar: The 23rd meeting of the Odisha Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, was held on Tuesday at Lok Seva Bhawan, focusing on critical governance and policy initiatives. The Cabinet approved five proposals spanning four departments, reflecting the state government’s emphasis on administrative reforms, enterprise promotion, and legal and fiscal efficiency.
Briefing the media after the meeting, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja said that the Cabinet gave its nod to proposals from the Water Resources Department, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Department, Finance Department, and Law Department, which had two proposals cleared.
“These decisions are designed to enhance administrative functioning, encourage entrepreneurship, streamline legal procedures, and improve public resource management,” Ahuja stated.
While specific details of the proposals are awaited, the approvals mark a continued effort by the Majhi-led government to align policy with Odisha’s broader developmental goals.
