Odisha Cabinet Clears 10 Proposals Across Six Departments

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government cleared a set of proposals covering digital technology, energy, irrigation, agriculture, child welfare and administration, with the State Cabinet approving 10 proposals from six departments at its 46th meeting.

The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan, considered proposals from the Electronics and Information Technology, Energy, Water Resources, Women and Child Development, Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, and General Administration and Public Grievance departments.

Chief Secretary Anu Garg informed the media about the Cabinet decisions after the meeting.

The Electronics and Information Technology Department and the Energy Department had two proposals each approved by the Cabinet. The Water Resources Department and the Women and Child Development Department also secured approval for two proposals each.

The Cabinet further approved one proposal concerning Agristack from the Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department. Another proposal from the General Administration and Public Grievance Department was also cleared.

The 10 decisions together cover a range of areas linked to the state’s development and administrative priorities. The approvals are expected to facilitate implementation of various departmental initiatives and programmes.

The Cabinet meeting was the 46th meeting of the State Council of Ministers under the present government.
