Set to be implemented from the financial year 2024-25 through 2028-29, the scheme will cover all sectors of fisheries, with a total budget allocation of nearly ₹2,239 crore.

The MMKY scheme includes 17 sub-schemes targeting the growth and sustainability of Odisha’s freshwater, brackish water, and marine fisheries.
