Odisha Cabinet Approves 11 Key Proposals Across Six Departments

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet on Saturday gave its approval to 11 proposals aimed at strengthening infrastructure, irrigation, urban development and public administration during its 45th meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan.

Chief Secretary Anu Garg, who briefed the media after the meeting, said the decisions span six departments and are expected to support the state’s ongoing development initiatives.

The Water Resources Department received the maximum number of approvals, with five proposals cleared by the Cabinet. Two proposals of the Housing and Urban Development Department also received the Cabinet’s nod.

The Cabinet further approved one proposal each of the Finance Department, Law Department, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, and Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department.

Overall, the Cabinet considered and approved 11 proposals from six departments. Detailed notifications and implementation guidelines for the approved decisions are expected to be issued separately by the respective departments in the coming days.
