
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) recorded an improved performance in the CBSE Class XII Board Examination 2025–26, with students achieving notable results in both Science and Commerce streams.
According to results declared on May 13, OAVS achieved a 73.5 per cent pass rate in the Science stream, improving from last year’s 72 per cent. A total of 4,721 students from Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas appeared for the examination, of whom 112 students secured more than 90 per cent marks.
Miss Priyadarshini Behera of OAV Dhobatota emerged as the Science topper with 97.6 per cent marks.
Other top performers in the Science stream included Piyush Ranjan Swain of OAV Frezorpur and Shaktivandan Purohit of OAV Tetelenga, both scoring 97.2 per cent, while Lavyansh Meher of OAV Bedi secured 96.6 per cent.
In the Commerce stream, 423 students from 31 OAVs appeared for the examination. The stream registered a significant rise in pass percentage to 88.9 per cent compared to 77.6 per cent in the previous year. Fourteen students scored above 90 per cent marks.
Miss Disha Saha of OAV Sanmouda topped the Commerce stream with 96.8 per cent marks.
Among other high achievers were Anchal Agarwal of OAV Sanmouda with 96.2 per cent, Biswajeeta Prusty and Ankita Behera of OAV Jamdhar with 95 per cent each, and Ritik Khurana of OAV Ranibhol who also secured 95 per cent.
OAVS congratulated the successful students, teachers, principals and parents, stating that the results reflect the organisation’s continued focus on quality education and academic excellence across Odisha.
