No Night Curfew in Odisha from February 18

Bhubaneswar: In view of decline in Covid-19 cases in the state, the Odisha Government on Friday decided to lift the night curfew.

A notification issued by the Special Relief Commissioner today stated that “Night Curfew is withdrawn/ lifted from all urban areas of the State with effect from 18th February, 2022.”

Night curfew was imposed in urban areas from 10 pm to 5 am since February 1.

With the new order, now shops, restaurants in urban areas will remain open beyond 10 pm. However, COVID restrictions as prescribed by the authorities for the month of February will continue.
