NFDC Announces Animation Crash Course & VFX Pipeline Workshop at MIFF 2024

New Delhi: The National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is set to host an exclusive Animation Crash Course & VFX Pipeline workshop at the 18th Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF). Aspiring animators are invited to immerse themselves in a five-day intensive program from June 16th to June 20th, aimed at honing their skills and gaining invaluable expertise in the dynamic field of animation.

Led by a veteran animation filmmaker from Warner Brothers, known for their work on iconic projects like Batman and Wonder Woman, the workshop promises participants an immersive experience into the captivating world of Movies, Series, and Gaming Animation. From practical knowledge to industry insights, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from the best in the business.

The animation sector in India is witnessing remarkable growth, driven by increasing demand for films, visual effects (VFX), gaming animation, and mobile content. With a projected value of ₹46 billion by 2023 (FICCI-EY Report 2023) and a growth rate of 25%, the industry offers exciting prospects for passionate animators.
