Mullai Muhilan, Deputy Commissioner of Dakshin Kannada, lauded the efforts of the Karnataka government and Karnataka Tourism in promoting surfing and fostering tourism development. He extended his best wishes to the organizers and participants for a successful event.

Echoing these sentiments, Arjun Ranga, Managing Partner of NR Group & Managing Director of Cycle Pure Agarbatti, emphasized the importance of preserving the ecological surroundings and empowering local communities. He expressed hope for India’s continued growth in the sport of surfing.

The Indian Open of Surfing will serve as the second stop of the National Championship series in the 2024 calendar year, following the International Surfing Festival Kerala 2024 held in March at Varkala Beach. With surfers from the east and west coasts set to compete fiercely for crucial ranking points, the event promises intense rivalry and thrilling displays of surfing prowess.

As the anticipation builds for the 5th Indian Open of Surfing, enthusiasts and participants alike eagerly await the exhilarating competition and the opportunity to showcase their talent on the waves of Sasihithlu Beach.
