New Born Baby Infected With Covid-19 Recovers in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In much of a miracle, a new born baby who tested Covid positive in Odisha has recovered from the infection. After a 20 days battle with the infection she has finally been discharged from the hospital.

She was barely a month old when the child got infected with Covid-19. She developed respiratory issues and was immediately rushed to a hospital in Kalahandi and was later admitted in an isolation ICU in a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. She was on ventilator support for 10 days. After undergoing treatment for another 10 days, the infant recovered from the disease.

Native of M Rampur, she is a daughter of Ankit Agarwal and Preeti Agarwal of Kalahandi district.
All the family members of the child were infected with covid.
