Zhong Jiaqi did give China the lead with a skillful shot in the second quarter, but Freeke Moes equalized for the Netherlands. Marijn Veen added another goal, giving the Dutch a 2-1 lead at halftime. In the second half, the Netherlands tightened their defense and extended their lead, with Moes securing a two-goal cushion. Despite China’s positive play, they couldn’t capitalize on opportunities, and the match ended 3-1 in favor of the Netherlands.

Tatum Stewart opened the scoring in the first quarter with a powerful drag flick, setting the tone for Australia’s control in the first half. Stephanie Kershaw extended the lead in the second quarter, displaying resilience against defenders to secure a 2-0 advantage at halftime. While the USA showed improvement in the second half, Australia continued to dominate, with Grace Stewart adding a third goal through an excellent deflection. Despite facing pressure in the final quarter with two yellow cards, the Hockeyroos held firm, and the USA couldn’t capitalize on the numerical advantage.
