Naveen Patnaik to Contest from Kantabanji Assembly Constituency in Upcoming Odisha Elections

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik have announced the fifth list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly Elections in Odisha, revealing his own candidature from the Kantabanji Assembly Constituency.

In a significant move, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will contest from Kantabanji, marking his presence in two constituencies, including his traditional stronghold of Hinjili.

The BJD also announced Prasanna Acharya as the candidate for the Rairakhol Constituency and Rohit Pujari for the Sambalpur Constituency, reshuffling candidates for these key seats.

Among other notable candidates in the fifth list, Sulakshana Geetanjali Devi will contest from Sanakhemundi, Indira Nanda from Jeypore, Laxmipriya Nayak from Chitrakonda, Barsha Singh Bariha from Padampur, Rajendra Chatria from Kuchinda, Arundhati Kumari Devi from Deogarh, Sanjukta Singh from Anugul, and Dilip Kumar Nayak from Nimapara constituency.
