National Council for Transgender Persons (NCTP) Convenes Crucial Meeting to Address Challenges

New Delhi: The National Council for Transgender Persons (NCTP) gathered for a pivotal meeting under the Chairmanship of Shri Saurabh Garg, Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre (DAIC) today. The meeting delved into the multifaceted challenges faced by transgender individuals, with a comprehensive agenda covering education, life with dignity, health support, livelihood opportunities, and skill enhancement.

Specific concerns brought to the forefront encompassed the imperative need for unisex toilets, the establishment of shelter homes, distribution of Ayushman Cards, and the provision of GarimaGreh.
