Bhubaneswar: Nandankanan Zoological Park, located on the outskirts of Odisha’s capital, Bhubaneswar, is set to introduce an innovative wildlife education program titled ‘Night Out At Zoo.’ The program, scheduled to kick off this Sunday, aims to provide participants with a unique and educational experience exploring the nocturnal world of animals.
With an exclusive limit of 20 participants per session, ‘Night Out At Zoo’ will be conducted every Sunday. Participants will embark on a journey through the zoo’s premises in battery-operated vehicles, gaining insights into the night-time adaptations of nocturnal animals. To ensure active participation and engagement, a registration fee of Rs 250 has been set for each participant.
The official release from Nandankanan Zoological Park outlines the program’s objective to educate participants about selected nocturnal animals within the zoo’s collection. The two-hour program is scheduled to start at 6 pm and conclude at 8 pm.
Interested individuals can register online through the Nandankanan website. However, due to the limited slots available, participants are encouraged to secure their spots promptly. The release specifies that registered participants must report to the multi-level car parking facility at the zoo by 6:15 pm, equipped with their online-generated tickets. Participants are advised not to carry any bags or luggage during the program, and the use of DSLR or video recording instruments is prohibited.
To ensure a smooth and enriching experience, participants are expected to adhere strictly to the instructions provided by the assisting Zoo education staff and volunteers.
