Ministry of Tourism Launches Incredible India Content Hub on World Tourism Day

New Delhi: Marking World Tourism Day, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has unveiled the Incredible India Content Hub on the newly revamped Incredible India digital portal (www.incredibleindia.gov.in). The Content Hub is a comprehensive digital repository, designed to serve a wide range of stakeholders including tour operators, journalists, students, researchers, filmmakers, authors, influencers, government officials, and ambassadors by providing a wealth of tourism-related resources.

The Incredible India Content Hub features an extensive collection of high-quality images, films, brochures, and newsletters showcasing India’s diverse tourist attractions. Currently, it holds around 5,000 digital assets and is a product of collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism, Archaeological Survey of India, Ministry of Culture, and other organizations. This centralized platform is expected to aid travel media, tour operators, and content creators in amplifying their marketing and promotional efforts globally.

Speaking on the launch, officials emphasized that the digital repository aims to make it easier for the global travel trade industry to access a unified source of content on Incredible India. By housing all necessary information in one place, the hub will facilitate better promotion of India’s tourism potential.

The revamped Incredible India portal itself is a tourist-centric, one-stop digital solution that provides essential services throughout a traveler’s journey, from planning and booking to returning home. It offers detailed information on destinations, attractions, festivals, and crafts through multimedia content including videos, images, and digital maps. The platform also includes a ‘Book Your Travel’ feature, allowing users to book flights, hotels, cabs, buses, and even monuments.

An AI-powered chatbot serves as a virtual assistant to answer queries in real-time, further enhancing the experience for visitors. Other useful tools like weather updates, currency converters, visa guides, and detailed tour operator information are also available on the portal.
