MIB sets up Media Centre for coverage of consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla

Ayodhya: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has established a state-of-the-art Media Centre at the Ram Katha Sangrahalaya in Ayodhya Dham for comprehensive coverage eagerly awaited consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya tomorrow. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to lead the nation in the event. The expansive Media Centre spans 13,000 square feet, featuring 340 workstations and accommodating up to 1,000 media persons.

Equipped with modern facilities, the Media Centre includes a press conference room, media briefing room, media lounge, cafeteria, high-speed Wi-Fi internet, mobile toilets, and air conditioning. Additional amenities for media professionals comprise laptop provisions, photocopying and printing services, continuous refreshments, and food facilities. Two large LED TVs measuring nine feet long and 16 feet wide have been installed for media persons to watch the Ram Lalla Pran-Pratishtha ceremony.

Transportation services have been arranged between Lucknow and Ayodhya for media persons, with buses departing at intervals of every 15 minutes from 4:30 AM on January 22. The buses will transport media persons to Ayodhya and back to Lucknow after the conclusion of the program.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, along with Prasar Bharati, has made extensive arrangements for the live telecast of the Shri Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha ceremony. The entire event will be broadcast live in 4K quality on DD News and DD National channels by Doordarshan, using 40 cameras for comprehensive coverage. A clean feed of the event in Ayodhya will be shared with ANI and PTI on January 22, 2024.

In anticipation of medical needs, information about medical aid and health facilities in Ayodhya is available on local administration and Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra websites. Teams from JPNA Trauma Centre and AIIMS, New Delhi, are present at various locations in Ayodhya Dham to provide medical assistance during emergencies. The Government of India has also established the Bhishma Emergency Response Facility in Ayodhya for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony and associated events.

To ensure smooth traffic flow in Ayodhya Dham, the Uttar Pradesh Traffic Police, along with Mappls MapmyIndia, has implemented a system for real-time information on route closures, traffic redirections, and other updates through the free Mappls app. This initiative aims to facilitate a smooth, safe, and hassle-free journey for all visitors.
