Bhadrak: In a significant step towards promoting student well-being, the Office of the DIG Eastern Range, Balasore, under the leadership of Dr. Satyajit Naik, organized an awareness and sensitization program on mental health at various colleges in Bhadrak. The initiative aimed to encourage open dialogue on mental health, prevent related issues, and equip students with tools to seek help during challenging times.
The interactive sessions saw enthusiastic participation from students, who engaged in discussions on stress management, emotional resilience, and the importance of mental health support systems. Dr. Naik’s guidance was instrumental in ensuring the program’s success, aligning with the Odisha government’s vision to create a safe and supportive learning environment, particularly for girl students.
The program also reflects the emphasis laid by the Director General of Police (DGP) on fostering secure, nurturing spaces for students to thrive both academically and emotionally. With a focus on awareness, prevention, and support, the campaign forms part of a larger effort to address mental health needs among the youth of the Eastern Range.
By organizing such initiatives, the Office of the DIG Eastern Range reaffirms its commitment to student welfare, reinforcing the broader mission of the state to safeguard and empower young minds.
