
Bhubaneswar: Do you relish popular street food at ‘Khaogali’ near Ram Mandir? Well now you have a reason to continue with your love for street food without bothering about hygiene and cleanliness.
Recently the popular Khaogali in Bhubaneswar has been certified as a ‘Clean Street Food Hub’ by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). The certificate is valid up to March 17, 2023.
The popular street food zone has food trucks and stalls selling varieties of cuisines comprising Indian, Chinese, Continental, Mexican, Italian among others.
Foodie Arindam Sahu loves to try different cuisines and has been a regular visitor at Khaogali. “This is a great news for a foodie like me. It is really important for street food vendors to maintain hygiene and cleanness. I love eating food from the food trucks of Khaogali. There are some food stalls which are my all time favourite and I try their favourite most often,” he shared.
Anita Singh, a student pursuing her MBA in the city loves to eat Continental food. Sharing her experience of eating food from Khaogali, she said, “I love eating at Khaogali as most food trucks here maintain the hygiene while cooking and serving. I have tried everything in Khaogali and they are delicious. But my favourites are white sauce pasta, lasagne and club sandwich. I often visit there with my friends and try different food items.”
