Kalinga Rail Heritage Museum Established in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway with an illustrious history, has played a crucial role for the development of Indian railways. With an aim to showcase the rich history of railways in the eastern region of the country and to enlighten people about its achievements, the East Coast railways has established the Kalinga Rail Heritage Museum at Chandrasekharpur. 

Old equipments, instruments, technology devices and models have been preserved in this heritage museum. The impressive display of artefacts, models and photographs would amaze visitors at the museum.

In the indoor section, various documents, old manuals, railway maps, equipment and photographs from early days of the Indian Railways are displayed which would help visitors to learn about the glorious history and rich heritage of the railways.

There are various documentaries which will keep the visitors glued. This apart, postage stamps and logos are also displayed at the museum to enhance the knowledge of the visitors about the Indian railways.
