Jayant Chaudhary Inaugurates NSDC International Academy to Boost Global Skilling Opportunities

New Delhi: Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and Minister of State for Education, inaugurated the NSDC International Academy in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The state-of-the-art facility aims to provide world-class skill development and training programs, equipping Indian youth with industry-relevant skills for global careers.

The NSDC International Academy, an initiative under the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), is designed to bridge the gap between Indian talent and international employment opportunities. The academy will offer specialized training programs aligned with workforce demands in countries like Germany, Japan, and Israel.

During the event, Jayant Chaudhary flagged off 11 candidates traveling to Germany for job opportunities. He also toured the academy, interacted with students, and explored its AI, VR, and advanced training labs.

A Viksit Bharat by 2047 will be built by individuals ready to take on global challenges, and our job is to make sure they have the right support to get there.”

Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for skill development, he said, “PM Modi is very passionate about skilling and takes pride in the ministry’s achievements. “The coming years will ensure India plays a dominant role in the global economy. Our initiatives at the NSDC International Academy equip youth with world-class language proficiency and advanced technical skills, preparing them for careers in Germany, Japan, Israel, and the UK.”

With a target of training over 1,000 candidates annually, the academy will provide placement assistance and collaborate with industry leaders to facilitate interview opportunities for its graduates.
