International Women’s Day Webinar to Focus on Empowering Women in Civil Service

New Delhi:  Commemorating International Women’s Day, the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances is set to host a virtual round-table webinar titled “Women in Civil Service” at 3 pm on March 8. This event aims to celebrate the achievements of women in civil service while addressing the challenges and advocating for policies that promote gender equality.

The webinar is expected to draw the participation of officials from various Ministries and Departments, State Administrative Reforms Departments, and District Collectors, fostering a diverse and inclusive discussion on women’s roles in public service.

Lead Speakers and Their Notable Contributions:

1. Smt. Sujata Chaturvedi: As the Secretary of the Department of Sports, Government of India, Smt. Sujata Chaturvedi has been a driving force behind initiatives promoting women’s participation and empowerment in the field of sports.
