
Port Louis, Mauritius: Indian Naval Ship (INS) Sarvekshak arrived at Port Louis, Mauritius, on December 26, 2024, to conduct a Joint Hydrographic Survey in collaboration with Mauritian authorities. The ship was warmly received by Shri Anurag Srivastava, High Commissioner of India to Mauritius, Capt. CG Binoop, Commandant of the Mauritius National Coastguard, and other military and civil dignitaries.
A preliminary survey coordination meeting was held between the ship’s crew and the Hydrographic Survey Unit of Mauritius to align objectives and strategies for the mission.
The hydrographic survey will involve technical knowledge exchange, professional interactions, and training sessions on hydrography, fostering deeper collaboration between Indian and Mauritian authorities. The operation aims to support Mauritius in developing maritime infrastructure, resource management, and coastal development planning.
This mission underscores the robust maritime partnership between India and Mauritius, showcasing a shared commitment to regional development and security.
