In the Mixed Team competition, the Indian duo of Ankita Bhakat and Dhiraj Bommadevara also excelled, finishing fifth in the rankings round with a total score of 1347. Their strong performance has secured them a place in the pre-quarterfinals, set to take place on August 2.

The competition saw a remarkable display from the Republic of Korea, with Lim Sih-Yeong setting a new World Record in the women’s ranking round. Kim Woo-Jin topped the men’s ranking round with a score of 686, contributing to a new Olympic record in the mixed team ranking round with a combined score of 1380, surpassing the previous record of 1368 set by Korea in Tokyo.
