Indian Naval Ships Visit Singapore to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Singapore: Indian Naval Ships Delhi, Shakti, and Kiltan, under the leadership of Rear Admiral Rajesh Dhankhar, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet, received a warm welcome upon their arrival at Singapore on 6th May 2024. The visit, part of the Operational Deployment of the Indian Navy’s Eastern Fleet to the South China Sea, aims to bolster the longstanding friendship and cooperation between India and Singapore.

Personnel from the Republic of Singapore Navy and the High Commissioner of India in Singapore extended a hearty welcome to the Indian naval contingent. This visit is poised to enhance mutual understanding and collaboration between the maritime forces of both nations through a series of engagements and activities.

During their stay in Singapore, the Indian naval ships will participate in various activities, including interactions with the High Commission of India, professional engagements with the Republic of Singapore Navy, and outreach programs with academia and the local community. These initiatives reflect the shared values and commitment to maritime security and stability upheld by both navies.
