
New Delhi: Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has revealed that Chandrayaan 4 and 5 will follow the success of Chandrayaan 3, marking another significant step in India’s space journey. This announcement came during a Curtain Raiser press interaction at the National Media Centre, ahead of the country’s first-ever National Space Day on August 23, 2024.
India, which became the first nation to land on the moon’s southern polar region on August 23, 2023, will commemorate this milestone with a grand celebration under the theme, “Touching Lives while Touching the Moon: India’s Space Saga.”
