The second-half brilliance from Navneet Kaur (37’) and Deepika (47’, 48’) sealed the win, ensuring India finished at the top of the table with maximum points. Japan’s goalkeeper, Yu Kudo, was instrumental in denying India’s penalty corner attempts, including a powerful flick by Deepika in the first quarter.
