Their stunning 5-1 win over defending champions Japan not only earned them the coveted Gold medal but also solidified their presence at the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.
The Indian team’s offensive prowess was on full display as Harmanpreet, with goals in the 32nd and 59th minutes from penalty corners, led the charge.
