IIT Guwahati Earns Global Recognition in QS World University Rankings for Data Science and Petroleum Engineering

Guwahati: The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) has secured prestigious positions in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024, affirming its status as a leading institution on the global stage. IIT Guwahati has been ranked among the elite institutions worldwide for Data Science and Petroleum Engineering, further solidifying its reputation for excellence and innovation.

In the realm of Data Science, IIT Guwahati has secured a remarkable global ranking of 51-70, while in Petroleum Engineering, it has achieved a commendable ranking of 51-100. These rankings, compiled by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), evaluate universities across 55 academic disciplines, highlighting IIT Guwahati’s consistent rise in various fields, including Engineering & Technology, Natural Sciences, and Arts & Humanities.

The institute’s stellar performance in these key disciplines underscores its unwavering dedication to academic excellence and cutting-edge research.
