New Delhi: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has returned to India following a successful participation in Exercise Udara Shakti 2024 held in Malaysia. The joint air exercise, conducted from August 5 to August 9, took place at Kuantan and involved a collaborative effort with the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).
The IAF contingent, which included Su-30MKI fighter jets, engaged in a series of air combat missions alongside the RMAF’s Su-30MKM fighters. This interaction provided both air forces with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with each other’s operational protocols, thereby enhancing interoperability and commonality in Su-30 aircraft operations.
The exercise also facilitated a valuable exchange of maintenance practices between technical experts from both air forces, aiming to boost operational efficiency and technical expertise.
