
Bhubaneswar: The Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Department conducted its monthly review meeting today, led by Principal Secretary Usha Padhee, to assess the progress of ongoing urban development initiatives across Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). This regular meeting, set for the second Wednesday of each month, aims to expedite urban development projects by fostering accountability and timely action.
In the meeting, Padhee emphasized the importance of adhering to strict project timelines and urged ULBs to actively address public grievances, highlighting the need for improved service delivery and community engagement. Senior officials from the department provided comprehensive updates on current projects, showcasing both achievements and outlining areas where challenges persist.
Key topics included resolving project bottlenecks and ensuring momentum in execution. Padhee reaffirmed the department’s dedication to efficient urban development and the swift resolution of citizen issues, stressing the need for proactive responses from all ULBs.
