Gujarat Titans lifts the IPL 2022 Cup

Ahmedabad: Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans defeat Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets to clinch their maiden title in the Indian Premier League. The IPL final was held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bat first. Fielding first, Pandya’s team restricted Rajasthan Royals to 130/9 in 20 overs.

Shubman Gill of Gujarat Titans scored unbeaten 43 in 45 ball while captain Pandya scored a 30 in 30 balls. Gujarat Titans reached the target of 131 in 19.1 overs.
