Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals Make Squad Adjustments for IPL 2024

Mumbai: As the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season commences today, Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals have made strategic squad adjustments to overcome injury woes.

Gujarat Titans announced the addition of B R Sharath to their squad as a replacement for the injured Robin Minz. Sharath, a dynamic wicketkeeper-batter hailing from Karnataka, brings a wealth of experience to the team. With 28 T20 matches under his belt, along with 20 First-Class appearances and 43 List A games, Sharath boasts a commendable track record. His addition to the Titans’ lineup comes at a base price of INR 20 Lac, promising to bolster the team’s depth and versatility.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals have secured the services of Tanush Kotian, who steps in to fill the gap left by Adam Zampa. Kotian, known for his solid all-round performances, recently played a pivotal role in Mumbai’s triumphant campaign in the 42nd Ranji Trophy. With 23 T20s, 26 First-Class matches, and 19 List A appearances for Mumbai, Kotian brings a blend of skill and tenacity to the Royals’ setup. His acquisition comes at a base price of INR 20 Lac, as Rajasthan Royals aim to fortify their squad for the challenges ahead in the IPL 2024 season.
