
Cuttack: In a high-voltage encounter at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, the defending champions, Odisha Juggernauts, faced a stunning defeat at the hands of Gujarat Giants in the first semifinal of Season 2.
Despite an electrifying atmosphere, Gujarat took the lead with a score of 19-10 at halftime, securing a 29-27 victory as the clock ticked down for the Odisha team. The Juggernauts fought back valiantly in the third turn, but Gujarat’s solid defense maintained their lead till the final whistle.
