Gram Vikas Wins CASCA’25 Award for Leadership in Community Engagement for Sustainability

New Delhi: Gram Vikas, a trailblazing organization committed to empowering rural communities and fostering sustainable development, has been awarded the prestigious CASCA’25 Award for Leadership in Community Engagement for Sustainability. The recognition was conferred at the recently held Climate Action & Sustainability Conference & Awards (CASCA’25) in New Delhi.

For over four decades, Gram Vikas has championed the cause of “Village Development,” working extensively across Odisha and neighboring states. Through strong collaborations with government bodies, private sector partners, and academic institutions, the organization has pioneered initiatives that blend inclusive growth with the preservation of rural biodiversity. Key discussions at the conference focused on regenerative agriculture, circular economy, ESG frameworks, electrification, biodiversity conservation, renewable energy, and climate finance, underlining India’s growing leadership in global climate action.
