New Delhi: In a major step towards enhancing accessibility to internship opportunities, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched a dedicated mobile app for the Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme (PMIS) at Samanvay Hall, Parliament, New Delhi. The launch event was also attended by Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and Road Transport, Harsh Malhotra.

The newly introduced PMIS mobile app is designed to make the internship application process seamless, offering features such as Aadhaar-based face authentication for easy registration, a personalized dashboard, and real-time alerts to keep candidates informed about new opportunities. • Financial assistance of ₹5,000 per month for each intern.
  • One-time financial assistance of ₹6,000 to support expenses.
