
Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Culture Minister Suryabanshi Suraj laid the foundation stone for the much-anticipated “Sanskruti Bhawan” in Nuapada district today. The facility aims to serve as a hub for cultural and literary enrichment in the region.
The project, with an allocated budget of ₹14.03 crore, will feature an auditorium on the first floor, a museum on the second floor, and an e-library on the third floor. These facilities are expected to foster cultural preservation, artistic expression, and academic pursuits in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Suryabanshi Suraj emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating, “The Sanskruti Bhawan will play a significant role in promoting and preserving the art, culture, and heritage of Nuapada district. It is a testament to the state’s commitment to nurturing its rich cultural legacy.”
The Sanskruti Bhawan is poised to become a landmark institution, enhancing the cultural vibrancy of Nuapada and providing a platform for artists, historians, and students alike.
