Former Cricketer and BCCI Referee Prasant Mohapatra Dies of Covid

Bhubaneswar: Former captain of Odisha Ranji Cricket team and BCCI referee Prasant Mohapatra died of Covid-19 infection. He is the son of eminent sculptor Raghunath Mohapatra who also passed away 10 days back due to Covid infection.

Prashant was admitted in AIIMS along with his father and brother Jashobant after testing Covid positive in the month of April.

A four member team was constantly monitoring his health condition, however he could not be saved. According to doctors the condition of his brother is also critical.
